1. I was inspired by seeing those aesthetic cake pics on twt. If I can't have them my OCs can
2. The initial composition didn't change much from the sketch. Poses were pretty much decided from the beginning. 80% of drawing time was spent on rendering the cakes and characters. I tried to put thought into the tableware and how the characters would use them.
3. I tried to colour using a soft aesthetic. In the end, I think the contrast is a bit low...
